Membership Fees will take effect on July 1st, 2013 for new and existing shop owners.
Each store owner on Designed by Hollywood pays a monthly membership fee of $10 US. Your membership fee will be charged each month unless you inform Designed by Hollywood in writing that you wish to cancel it. If you put your store on vacation you will still have to pay the $10 membership fee. If you close down your store in the middle of a month you will not receive a refund but you will not be charged at the start of your next billing cycle.
Commission and Transaction fees
When a product is sold on Designed by Hollywood, you will be charged a transaction commission fee of 6.5% of the item price plus a $.50 processing fee. This commission percentage applies only to the product price, and does not include the shipping cost or tax. The processing and commission fees are automatically debited from your PayPal account and credited to Designed by Hollywood. This will happen in a secondary transaction once the buyer’s payment arrives in full to your PayPal account.
Shortly after launch, Designed by Hollywood will be offering advertising opportunities (featured listings etc.) to increase the visibility of your items and shop. Advertising fees vary by opportunity and will be clearly outlined before you commit to purchasing an ad. If featured listings or additional marketing services are purchased, at the end of each month, each seller will be emailed an invoice detailing the amount due. A seller must pay the amount due in full within 15 days of the date of the invoice.
Memberships are charged against your PayPal account on a monthly basis.
Commission and transaction fees are are automatically debited from your PayPal account and credited to Designed by Hollywood once the buyer has fulfilled payment.
Designed by Hollywood charges all fees in US Dollars. Currency conversion is handled automatically by our payment processing service.
